It may took awhile but it was worth the wait. Best Christmas ever experienced.

More photos after the jump.

It was literally the busiest day of the year, especially for our family. Moving in took so much of our time, we didn’t realize that Christmas was fast approaching. Good thing, everyone helped to make our home “Christmas-y” (setting up the tree, groceries for food, preparing the food, fixing the lights, decorating our home, etc.) Oh yeah, this all happened six hours before Christmas. Yan ang christmas rush!

I decorated our tree and I’m proud of it! We initially plan to buy a legit baum (pine tree) kaso no time. Man!
Yearly, someone in our family would play Santa (The Weinachs Man this year was Lolo Ted) for John. My parents didn’t want to spoil the fantasy to John, even if he might be too old for Santa. I might actually do the same thing for my future kids.
May spiel pa yan si Santa (na syempre hindi ko masyado naintindihan kasi German)

John opening his gifts from Santa! <3

My Lolo and Lola are back together! See, this Christmas was really something. After almost 30 years! Nothing is never too late.

We haven’t fought each other since I got here. Improving!

The Torreses!

Yup, tatay ko yan.

Runs in the family.

I wish my other Titas and Tito were there. It could have been a prettier picture.

Yung Nanay ko, ayaw patalo sa pose.

With Baba, Pap’s Pakistani friend.

Like mother, like daughter.

I did not know how I took this picture. I didn’t eat any of it. Haha.

Oh, I did not make it to noche buena. I “slept” five minutes before 12. The culprit: one bottle of some sick, delicious red wine.

And because I “slept”, I opened my presents the morning after.

I hope you had a happy Christmas too! Now for New Year…
